CredAble
India's largest working capital tech platform enabling more than $3 Billion working capital annually
About CredAble
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Mumbai, CredAble is a financial technology company focused on optimizing working capital for businesses across India. The company was established by Nirav Choksi, Ram Kewalramani, and Rajiv Ramnarayan, whose collective experience in technology, structured trade finance, and logistics identified a significant gap in the traditional working capital landscape. Choksi, with a background in computer science and economics from the University of Michigan, previously co-founded and led a multi-commodity trading firm with revenues exceeding $500 million, and has a history of successful exits from technology ventures. Kewalramani's experience spans over 18 years in investment banking and as CEO of a large logistics business, where he directly faced the challenges of securing working capital.
CredAble operates a B2B model, partnering with large corporate entities to offer financing solutions to their suppliers, vendors, and distributors. Its client base includes over 125 large corporations and more than 350,000 small business borrowers. The company's revenue model is primarily fee-based, earned on transactions facilitated through its platform, without levying fixed or upfront registration costs. Additionally, its own Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) arm participates in some financing programs, generating yield-based income.
The firm's core offering is a technology platform that provides a suite of working capital solutions. This includes anchor-led and vendor-led supply chain financing, pre-shipment financing, and receivables financing. A key product is the Post-Invoice Early Payment Program, which allows suppliers to receive early payment on their approved invoices in exchange for a discount, thereby accessing liquidity without collateral. The platform features digital onboarding, know-your-customer (KYC) processes, and loan management systems. Its proprietary AI-powered digital underwriting module integrates with various data sources like credit bureaus and financial statements to assess creditworthiness, reduce risk, and accelerate loan approval times.
Since going live in October 2018, the company has processed significant transaction volumes and has raised approximately $72 million in total funding over several rounds from investors including OAKS Asset Management, Axis Bank, SIDBI, and Alpha Capital. The legal entity behind the brand is Equentia Scf Technologies Private Limited. CredAble aims to digitize the entire working capital infrastructure, connecting businesses with a network of over 35 financial institutions to provide flexible and timely access to liquidity.
