CommuniClique, Inc., which also operated as Clique API, was a Delaware corporation founded and run by CEO Andrew B. Powers. Initially based in Reston, Virginia, the company presented itself as a technology firm that had developed a software application to facilitate seamless electronic communications for businesses, their clients, and between different businesses.

The company's history is defined by a significant and long-running fraudulent scheme orchestrated by its founder. Powers solicited investments by making false and misleading representations about the company's financial success and client base. He claimed the company had major corporate clients and partners such as FedEx, Intel, Uber, and Staples, and was generating substantial yearly revenues, projecting as much as $180 million by 2019. In reality, CommuniClique had no large corporate clients and generated no revenue from customers.

The scheme defrauded nearly 60 investors out of approximately $25 million. After the Virginia State Corporation Commission barred him from soliciting investments in Virginia in August 2018, Powers relocated the operation to California. The fraudulent activities led to legal action, and in July 2020, Andrew B. Powers was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for investment fraud and money laundering. Court documents indicate the company was involved in Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings.
