The company's core product is the Agent Transaction Protocol (ATXP), a web-wide protocol designed to function as the HTTP for AI agent payments. ATXP provides a standardized communication layer that enables AI agents to handle the entire commerce lifecycle, from discovery to payment, without human intervention. It is engineered to support real-time decision-making, nested transactions, autonomous tool discovery, and low-cost micropayments, which traditional payment rails cannot support. This allows agents to autonomously pay for services like accessing data from private profiles or paid articles, creating new monetization avenues for businesses.

Circuit & Chisel's business model centers on positioning ATXP as the foundational infrastructure for a new class of commerce driven entirely by intelligent agents. On September 22, 2025, the company announced a $19.2 million seed funding round to launch and develop the ATXP protocol. The round was co-led by Primary Venture Partners and ParaFi Capital, with participation from notable investors including Stripe, Coinbase Ventures, Solana Ventures, and Samsung Next. The funding is allocated to expanding operations and furthering the development of the ATXP protocol to accelerate its adoption.
