Chipiron is a Paris-based deep-tech company founded in 2020 by CEO Evan Kervella and CSO Dimitri Labat with the mission to make Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) as accessible as an X-ray. The founders met in 2020 through the "Entrepreneur First" program at Station F. Kervella holds a Master of Engineering from École Centrale and founded his first company at 21, while Labat has a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and is an expert in superconductivity. The company's goal is to address the limited accessibility of traditional MRI systems, which are expensive, large, and require complex infrastructure, thus restricting their use to major hospitals.
