About Chariot Defense
Chariot Defense is a San Francisco defence-technology company founded in late 2024 by CEO Adam Warmoth (Stanford engineer; Anduril and Archer Aviation) to solve battlefield power constraints for drones, sensors, radios, electronic warfare and directed-energy systems. Its Amphora family of transportable, software-defined hybrid power systems stores, converts and routes energy from generators, vehicles and solar with low electronic, thermal and noise signatures, and has been fielded in U.S. Department of Defense exercises including NTC Transforming in Contact rotations, with sales and contracts including U.S. Army and DIU Project GI work. After an $8 million seed led by General Catalyst and XYZ in July 2025, Chariot closed a $34 million Series A in February 2026 led by Andreessen Horowitz, with DCVC, LMNT, Marlinspike, Overmatch, Shield Capital, Ensemble and Trenches Capital plus existing investors General Catalyst and XYZ, bringing total funding to $41 million to accelerate Amphora production, build a battlefield power OS and expand engineering.
