Bonx

Bonx is a French software-as-a-service (SaaS) company positioning itself to disrupt the enterprise resource planning (ERP) market for mid-sized manufacturers. Founded in November 2022 by CEO Alexandre Barroux and CTO Rémi Bèges, the company was established within the startup studio OSS Ventures, which specializes in industrial software. This incubation provided early access to key players in the manufacturing sector, including Decathlon's supplier network. The founders' backgrounds are deeply rooted in the problems Bonx aims to solve. Bèges had previously built two ERPs from scratch, giving him firsthand knowledge of the customization limits of traditional systems. Barroux, having developed eight manufacturing SaaS startups within OSS Ventures, repeatedly encountered the pain points caused by inadequate ERPs in small to mid-market companies. This shared experience led to the creation of a fully customizable platform designed to give businesses control over their operations.

The company targets manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), typically those with 20 to 300 employees, that are underserved by complex, rigid, and slow-to-deploy legacy ERP systems. Many of these companies still rely on spreadsheets to manage critical operations. Bonx addresses this by focusing exclusively on operational modules—production, supply chain, logistics, procurement, and quality—while integrating with clients' existing finance and CRM software. This approach avoids a complete overhaul, acting as an operational backbone that enhances the current software stack. The business model is centered on its SaaS platform, which generates recurring revenue.

The core of Bonx's offering is its modern ERP platform, which leverages no-code and graph database technologies to deliver a system that is both flexible and rapidly deployable. The company reports full implementation in six to twelve weeks, a significant reduction from the months or years typical of traditional ERP projects. Its no-code capabilities, enhanced by AI, empower users without IT skills to customize interfaces and adapt processes autonomously. The use of graph technology provides faster, more precise access to interconnected data, allowing for better visibility and analysis of complex relationships within a supply chain. The platform's modular, visual interface is designed to be intuitive for all employees, from shop floor operators to managers. In June 2025, Bonx announced an $8.6 million seed funding round to fuel product development and expansion into new European markets, particularly Italy and Spain.
