Better Payment Network (BPN) is a programmable payment network focused on the multi-stablecoin landscape, built natively on the BNB Chain. The company was founded by Rica Fu. BPN aims to provide a more inclusive and efficient substitute for payment systems centered around the US dollar.

The firm has developed a hybrid CeDeFi (Centralized and Decentralized Finance) architecture to manage efficiency, programmability, and regulatory compliance for global financial infrastructure. This dual-rail system facilitates the real-time minting, swapping, and settlement of fiat-backed stablecoins across different jurisdictions, which addresses the issue of capital-intensive pre-funding models used in traditional fintech. BPN's infrastructure is designed to replace legacy interbank rails and SWIFT, offering 24/7 settlement and reducing cross-border transaction times from days to hours and costs from approximately 2% to 0.3%.

In October 2025, BPN secured $50 million in a seed funding round led by YZi Labs, the venture capital firm formerly known as Binance Labs. This capital is intended to establish on-chain liquidity pools and develop market-making systems to support stablecoin-to-stablecoin transactions, particularly in emerging markets. The network supports various regional stablecoins, including those pegged to the Brazilian Real (BBRL), Nigerian Naira (cNGN), and Mexican Peso (MEXAS). The company serves a range of clients, including stablecoin issuers, financial institutions, cross-border merchants, developers, and end-users, offering solutions for retail remittances, enterprise payments, and institutional settlements.

The business model includes a CeFi component for enterprises and licensed payment institutions requiring KYC/KYB-compliant transfers, and a DeFi model that provides a permissionless on-chain FX market for users to swap stablecoins and earn yield.
