A unique aspect of Basking's therapeutic approach is the concurrent development of BB-025, a specific reversal agent. Basking Biosciences is actively progressing its pipeline, with BB-031 currently in a two-part Phase 2 clinical trial known as the RAISE study. This trial, which began enrolling patients in 2024, is designed to assess the safety and preliminary efficacy of BB-031 in AIS patients. The company has secured significant financial backing to advance these trials, including a $55 million financing round in early 2024 led by ARCH Venture Partners. This funding is allocated to the ongoing RAISE trial for BB-031 and to advance the reversal agent, BB-025, into its initial Phase 1 clinical program.
