About Akson Robotics
Akson Robotics is a Danish deep-tech company developing CropUp, an AI-powered precision agriculture platform. CropUp turns drone imagery of farmland into precise weed, crop, soil and tractor-track maps, identifying weeds and crops down to plant level so farmers can apply herbicide only where it is needed through spot spraying. The generated spray maps export directly to more than ten tractor terminal formats, and the platform is sold per hectare, with additional plant-count, NDVI thresholding and manual measurement tools built on the same drone-imagery pipeline.
Customers are primarily farmers, agronomists and crop consultants in Denmark and across Europe, frequently working through agricultural consulting firms that carry out the drone flights. Developing in collaboration with farmers and knowledge institutions, the company aims to make precision farming profitable and help growers stay ahead of tightening spraying regulations.
Akson Robotics was founded by Aalborg University alumni and is an ESA Business Incubation Centre Denmark alumni company, operating from Aarhus and Aalborg.
