About Robotto

Robotto is a Danish software company (Robotto Co ApS) founded in 2019 in Aalborg as an Aalborg University bachelor project, now building perception and autonomy software for drones, robots and other camera-enabled systems. The company develops an edge-level perception operating system that lets autonomous systems see, understand and react to their environment.

The platform combines vision-based navigation, object search, detection and tracking, edge computing and GNSS-denied flight capability, and integrates with low-power embedded systems and advanced video processors. It is hardware-agnostic, supporting drones, ground robots, underwater vehicles and stationary cameras, and is designed for operation in remote areas without reliable connectivity.

Robotto sells its software to organisations working in defence, emergency response, infrastructure and nature preservation. Its wildfire detection system grew from a partnership with Spain's GRAF firefighting brigade, and the company has supported WWF conservation programmes, counting elephant populations in Thailand and koala populations in Australia, as well as fire mapping for controlled burns.
