Adcytherix is a Marseille biopharmaceutical company founded in 2024 by Jack Elands with Pontifax and Emergence Therapeutics alumni Xavier Preville and Carsten Dehning to develop novel antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for cancers and other high-unmet-need diseases. The company focuses on differentiated payload classes intended to expand ADC reach to tumours that respond poorly to current modalities and to address resistance seen with commonly used payloads, with lead candidate ADCX-020 advancing toward IND/CTA filings. In October 2025 Adcytherix raised €105 million Series A co-led by Andera Partners, Angelini Ventures, Bpifrance (Large Venture and InnoBio) and Kurma Partners, with Surveyor Capital, aMoon and existing shareholders Pontifax, Dawn Biopharma (KKR), Pureos Bioventures and RA Capital, described as the largest ADC-focused Series A in Europe in 2025.
