Flexport's Ryan Petersen: a large European logistics firm says German works councils stop it using AI

Flexport founder and CEO Ryan Petersen says that when he asked a large European logistics company how it was using AI, it told him it can't use AI because of German works councils. 'It was weird because I didn't ask them how they were cutting headcount. I asked them how they were using AI,' he wrote on X, a sharp anecdote in the debate over whether European labour rules slow AI adoption at incumbents. He did not name the company.
