Monumental's robots laid every brick of a house in Almere, with 15 more homes due in the coming weeks

Salar al Khafaji, CEO of Amsterdam-based Monumental, says its robots placed 100% of the bricks on a house in Almere, including curved walls, different brick types and bonds and indented text, with another 15 houses to come in the coming weeks. The company says it has built walls for more than 100 homes in the Netherlands and UK, is starting a 112-home neighbourhood and hotel near Groningen, which will become its second Dutch hub, and is targeting first US pilots. Khosla Ventures led its $32M round in July 2026.
