Stuut's $52.5M bet: making order-to-cash an AI-native motion

Key points

Key takeaways from Source theCUBE + NYSE Wired FinTech Exchange interview with Stuut chief executive officer and co-founder Tarek Alaruri (October 2026):

Fresh capital. Stuut raised $52.5M from Insight Partners in a two-day span — Alaruri had worked with the firm at a previous company, so the round came together quickly — bringing total funding to roughly $93M and an eightfold increase in customers over the past year.

Order to cash automation. The platform automates the full accounts receivable journey from invoicing to cash in the bank: collections, payments, disputes, cash application and, soon, order management and delivery confirmation.

Paying the real world. Customers span Honeywell, ZoomInfo, Bishop Lifting and Easy G Manufacturing; Easy G, run by two people, reclaimed $12M within the first couple of months of using the platform.

The payment puzzle. With $17 trillion moving in B2B transactions and average payments arriving 89 days late, the problem is usually clerical rather than unwillingness to pay — wrong documentation or late delivery — which automation can fix.

Rising backlog of finance work. Roughly 300,000 financial professionals have left the industry since 2019, so Stuut positions itself as supercharging the finance teams that remain rather than replacing them.

Proof points. PerkinElmer went from 50% of invoices overdue to 15%, unlocking about $600M of working capital that helped fund two acquisitions in the past year.

Beyond dashboards. Alaruri contrasts Stuut with consultants wrapping Anthropic or OpenAI around a single workflow: Stuut orchestrates multiple models tuned on each customer's historical data, and the firm says it has never lost a customer.

Expanding the TAM. The roadmap adds credit decisioning (already live with several customers), order management and bank-partnered lending for the long tail of small suppliers, priced as a flat six-to-eight-figure package rather than usage-based tokens.
