Try Dealroom →, a Nordic CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → portfolio company. The deal, completed on 3 November, adds 24 clinics, two laboratories, and about 500 employees. MLL Legal advised DentaCore on the transaction. The price was not disclosed.
What's the endgame? The acquisition lifts DentaCore's network to 91 locations across 19 cantons, spanning both German- and French-speaking Switzerland. The group says the combination creates the country's largest dental platform, with a major foothold in the Romandie.
How it works: Founded in 2021 and based in Baar, DentaCore runs a network model. Its central platform handles finance, HR, procurement, IT, administration, and quality assurance, while individual practices keep their own branding and clinical responsibility. For Adent patients, treatment continues with the same dentists.
Why now? The deal caps a rapid buy-and-build run. MLL said DentaCore had completed more than 45 M&A transactions and built a network of over 60 locations by early 2026, backed by a US$110M growth financing announced in April.
The signal: Switzerland's dental market remains fragmented, and this is a consolidation play rather than a one-off practice deal. Adent's sale also marks an exit for Nordic Capital, handing a cross-cantonal network to a fast-growing domestic consolidator.
