The Peddock deal also included Peddock Tax Services, a full-service tax practice. Terms were undisclosed.
What changes? The acquisitions add five offices, including CW's first Texas locations in The Woodlands and League City, plus sites in Newport Beach and Fresno, California, and Braintree, Massachusetts. CW now runs 30 offices nationwide and oversees more than $19.7 billion in assets.

Market expansion: The Texas additions mark CW's entry into a new state, while the California offices deepen its western footprint — a geographic reach that underpins its pitch to sellers. "The opportunity to join a local firm appealed to us," said Peter Simmons, chief executive officer of Peddock.
What's the endgame? CW wants scale and talent in key wealth centres. "These three acquisitions reflect our commitment to thoughtful growth in key wealth centers, bringing on exceptional talent who share our dedication to white-glove client service," said Scott Dell'Orfano, chief executive officer of CW Advisors.
For acquired firms, the draw is the larger platform. "Joining CW Advisors gives us access to expanded technology and tools to better serve our clients," said Paul Heckler, managing director of Yosemite.
The signal: The story is less the $1.6 billion addition than the pace and reach. The RIA market is consolidating fast: FidelityDealroom has a profile for this one. Backed by Osaic, CW is positioning itself as an active national buyer in an increasingly scale-driven field.
