Lime buys majority of Trale maker to boost AI meeting tools across Europe
What's the deal? Lime TechnologiesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired 51% of Norwegian company Supercompany ASDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the maker of AI product TraleDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, for an undisclosed sum funded from Lime's cash. Trale prepares employees for meetings, documents what is said, and updates customer data in CRM systems. The agreement gives Lime the right to buy the remaining shares in 2029.
What's the endgame? Lime, a Swedish CRM and customer-communications company founded in 1990 with 12 offices across Europe, is adding AI capability across its products. Trale solves "one of our customers' biggest challenges," said chief executive officer Tommas Davoust: getting what is said in meetings into the CRM.
What changes? Trale will run as two products. Existing Lime customers get Lime Meeting Assist, launching across all six markets — Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands. The standalone Trale brand targets non-Lime companies, starting in the Nordics.
Why now? Trale launched in early 2025 and now has around US$906.6K in recurring revenue from more than 200 European customers. The product handles Nordic and European languages and is adapted to local regulations. Lime says the deal will not significantly affect its growth or profitability in coming quarters.
Supercompany stays independent, with its founding team in management. "With Lime behind us, we can grow much faster than we could on our own," said Samuel Nuri, chief executive officer and co-founder of Supercompany.
The signal: The deal fits Lime's push to layer AI across its CRM line, alongside launches such as Lime Go Agentic. With its newer AI offerings only beginning to generate revenue, the move is about product reinforcement rather than scale — and its payoff will hinge on how well Trale is integrated and adopted.
