Carrier's Automated Logic buys Texas dealer Logical Solutions
What's the deal? Automated LogicDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the building-management unit of Carrier Global Corporation, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Logical Solutions, Inc. (LSI), an Automated Logic dealer based in Richardson, Texas. The deal value was not disclosed. LSI brings field engineers, project managers, application engineers, and service professionals, along with expertise in mission-critical environments.
What's the endgame? Carrier wants to deliver intelligent, autonomous, and efficient buildings and widen its national footprint. LSI's work pairs with Automated Logic's enterprise automation platform to build AI-ready building-management systems.
Why now? The companies have worked together since 1995, and Carrier is folding in LSI through its Carrier QuantumLeap suite of solutions. The move follows the recent acquisition of Control Consultants & Services, Inc., a dealer with offices in Lubbock and Abilene, Texas, and marks the integration of a sixth acquisition for Automated Logic.
"We are excited to have LSI join the Automated Logic team, building on a relationship that dates back to 1995," said Gaurang Pandya, president of Climate Solutions Americas at Carrier.
LSI owners Jim Barber, Ben Blackerby, and Daniel Tarver called the deal "an important next chapter," adding that it preserves the firm's "focus on employees, customers and quality execution." The transaction is expected to close in the coming months.
The signal: The deal extends Carrier's steady run of tuck-in buys to build out Automated Logic's controls network, which included Canada's Control SolutionsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in August 2025 and Ohio's CCG Automation in January 2026. It also fits a wider industry push into intelligent-building and energy efficiency: Carrier bought AI-enabled provider 75F in July 2026, while Johnson ControlsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → acquired AI energy-optimization firm Nantum AI. With no price disclosed, the scale of this particular bet remains unclear.
