Unlimit Group completes $753,000 share placement to shore up liquidity
What's the deal? Unlimit Group, a Danish retail technology company, has completed a fully subscribed directed share placement raising US$733.3K (roughly $753,000). The round, a post-IPO equity issue, was taken up by Sune Mathiesen Holding, the vehicle of the company's board chairman, Sune Mathiesen.
The details: The placement covers 500,000,000 new shares at US$0 each, lifting Unlimit's share count from about 4.47 billion to 4.97 billion. The price marks a premium of roughly 42.9% over the stock's US$0 close on November 4, 2026. The new shares will be listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market Denmark.
Why now? The placement completes a financing package agreed in September. That package also included a US$146.7K bridge loan, an extension of major creditors' loan maturities to June 2028, and conversion of US$440K of debt into shares.
What's the endgame? Unlimit builds retail infrastructure and smart vending solutions, and sells software for unmanned store concepts. The cash is earmarked for operations and working capital as it tries to reach positive operations. Warrants could add a further US$733.3K.
What could go wrong? The backdrop is strained. At June 30, 2026, Unlimit reported just US$7.23K in cash, a half-year loss of US$3.04M, and EBITDA of minus US$234.7K; two subsidiaries have since entered insolvency proceedings. Full exercise of the warrants and related share issuance would materially dilute existing holders.
The signal: The completed raise buys liquidity and signals backing from the company's own leadership. But it is modest against the losses, and does not by itself prove Unlimit has a durable path to profitability.
