Try Dealroom →, a conversion tool that turns website visitors into subscribers. Terms were not disclosed.
What each company does: Launched in 2012, Drip serves more than 6,000 brands with email and SMS automation, segmentation, and a drag-and-drop builder. Sleeknote focuses on onsite conversion, capturing visitors before they leave. To date, Drip customers have earned over $1.5 billion in revenue attributed to their Drip emails.
What's the endgame? The buyer wants to pair visitor conversion tools with marketing automation under one roof. Awesome Motive's in-house email team will work with Drip on a roadmap that includes more AI features and tighter links to products like WPFormsDealroom has a profile for this one. Why now? Awesome Motive is framing the deal around AI. "Email and SMS are the only marketing channels that business owners truly own, and they're even more important in the AI era," said Syed Balkhi, founder of WPBeginner and chief executive officer of Awesome Motive.

What changes for customers? Little, at least for now. Drip and Sleeknote will keep operating as an independent unit under chief executive officer Mogens Møller, co-founder of Sleeknote, with no change in service.
"Our mission has always been to give small businesses a real chance to compete," Møller said, adding that Awesome Motive's resources would help the brands "reach even more business owners for many years to come."
The signal: The deal reflects a broader push to unify customer data across email, SMS, and websites. QuestionProDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → acquired e-commerce engagement platform Contlo on November 4, while Salesforce's proposed $5.66 billion purchase of Braze shows larger players chasing the same cross-channel personalization — a trend now reaching the small-business tier, where more than 30 million sites already use Awesome Motive tools.
