Quanta lands Trix Ventures backing for AI-native Web3 investing platform
What's the deal? Quanta has secured investment from Trix Ventures to build an AI-native Web3 research and investment agent platform. The backer previously made an early bet on Humanity Protocol, which raised at a $1 billion valuation in 2024.
What's the endgame? Web3 users often juggle project data, market information, and trading tools when researching investments. Quanta uses natural language as its entry point, building around three types of AI agents: a research agent that organises data and evidence, a decision agent that turns research and user preferences into trade plans, and an authorised trading agent that executes within user-set limits, timeframes, and risk boundaries.
The aim is to connect traceable research with controlled execution, letting users verify the basis for decisions, review plans, and cap trading permissions.
Who's backing it? Trix Ventures focuses on research, architecture design, project incubation, and ecosystem expansion. Its earlier investment, Humanity Protocol, verifies real users through palm recognition and zero-knowledge proofs, trading under the token H.
Humanity Protocol announced a $30 million seed round in May 2024 at a $1 billion valuation, led by Kingsway CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → with Animoca Brands, Blockchain.com, and HashedDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → participating. As of October 3, 2026, CoinGeckoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → data showed H's circulating market cap at roughly $148 million.
The signal: The round reflects investor appetite for products that merge AI agents with on-chain execution. Quanta's bet is that bridging research, decision-making, and authorised trading can reduce the gap between information and action — an approach that will be tested as the AI-agent and Web3 sectors converge.
