Command Alkon buys analytics startup C60 to plug margin leaks for concrete producers

What's the deal? Command AlkonDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a software provider for the heavy building materials industry, has acquired C60, a predictive analytics and AI platform for the ready-mix concrete sector. The transaction, announced November 4, 2026, includes C60's full product suite and team. Financial terms were not disclosed.

What does C60 do? Founded in 2022 and based in Wilmington, Delaware, with an office in Montreal, it pulls data from dispatch, batch, and quality control systems into a single ready-mix data model. The platform then shows producers where pricing, mix design, and delivery performance are eroding profitability.

Why now? C60 has been a Command Alkon Connected Partner since September 2024, building on the company's open Command Cloud APIs. "Ready mix producers have told us for years that they know margin is leaking somewhere between the batch plant and the jobsite, but they can't see exactly where," said Martin Willoughby, chief executive officer of Command Alkon.

What changes? C60's tools will be rebranded as Analyst C60 and folded into Command Intelligence within the Command Cloud ecosystem. Existing integrations — including links to systems outside Command Alkon's suite — will carry over, and C60 customers gain access to the company's support and training programs.

The key hire: Carlos Benfeito, C60's chief technology officer, joins Command Alkon as vice president and global product manager for C60 and Command Intelligence. He will lead the evolution of Analyst C60 and ensure continuity for current customers.

What's the endgame? Command Alkon runs Command Cloud, which connects raw materials, production, dispatch, logistics, and financials in one platform across more than 80 countries. The C60 deal deepens its analytics and AI layer rather than adding a standalone feature.

The signal: The acquisition extends a run of expansion that includes Command Alkon's 2025 purchase of Digital Fleet and its 2024 buy of Marcotte SystemsDealroom has a profile for this one.
