Equinix prices €2.5B in euro senior notes across four tranches

What's the deal? Equinix has priced €2.5 billion of euro-denominated senior notes across four tranches, issued through Equinix Europe 2 Financing Corporation LLC and guaranteed by Equinix, Inc. The data center operator set final terms in a November 3, 2026 filing, with settlement expected on or about November 9, 2026.

The breakdown: The offering splits into €650 million of 4.150% notes due 2028, €700 million of 4.800% notes due 2033, €500 million of 5.100% notes due 2035, and €650 million of 5.450% notes due 2038. Yields range from 4.203% to 5.502%, with spreads over the benchmark Bund from +115.1 to +202.8 basis points.

Who's backing it? Banco Santander, BNP Paribas, ING Bank, J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch International, and Standard Chartered Bank served as joint global coordinators and book-running managers. The issuer plans to list each series on the Nasdaq Bond Exchange, with settlement via EuroclearDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and ClearstreamDealroom has a profile for this one. Why now? The notes carry guarantor credit ratings of Baa1 (stable) from Moody's, BBB+ (stable) from S&P, and BBB+ (positive) from Fitch. The offering targets eligible counterparties and professional clients only — no retail investors in the EEA or UK.

The signal: At €2.5 billion, this ranks among the largest post-IPO debt raises in its class, landing in the 97th percentile of comparable rounds for US security firms. The scale underscores how data center operators are tapping debt markets to fund the capital-heavy buildout driving the industry.
