What's the deal? GreenSightDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an AI-powered pricing platform for the secondary electronics market, has raised $200,000 in a seed round led by Character CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The money came through acceptance into Character Labs G7, a five-week accelerator run by the venture firm, which invests $200,000 in each company it accepts.
What's the endgame? Founded in 2024, GreenSight wants to modernise how IT assets are valued, quoted, and routed across the resale market. Its platform combines AI device identification, real-time market intelligence, and source-backed pricing to help asset-disposition providers, recyclers, brokers, and wholesalers make faster, more profitable decisions.
Why now? The seventh cohort kicked off last week with an in-person gathering at the Center for Architecture + Design in San Francisco. GreenSight will work directly with Character's founding team, including Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky, creators of the Design Sprint and former design partners at Google Ventures.
Character's team has worked with more than 300 startups, including Slack, YouTube, Gusto, and Flatiron Health. GreenSight will present at Character Labs' Demo Day, scheduled for February 17, 2027.
What they said: "We've spent the last two years working directly with industry operators to understand where existing tools fall short," said Jake Daniels, co-founder and chief executive officer of GreenSight.
The signal: The round is a modest, standard accelerator cheque — Character offers each G7 company $200,000 for 5% equity. It sits in the bottom quartile of disclosed deal sizes, so it marks fresh early-stage backing and mentorship rather than a major shift in GreenSight's financing or market position.
