What's the deal? Uzbek studio Grimoire EntertainmentDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has signed a publishing agreement with Indie Go for its cooperative pirate game Ship Happens: Pirates Wanted, according to IT Park Uzbekistan. The Tashkent-based studio signed the deal during the second Moscow International Games Week, which ran from October 29 to November 1.

What does Grimoire make? Ship Happens: Pirates Wanted is a pirate-themed game for one to four players, built around teamwork, adventure, and challenges at sea. Otabek Baratov founded the studio.

What's the endgame? IT Park Uzbekistan said the deal opens international promotion and distribution for the game, and access to a global gaming audience. A publisher could help Grimoire with reach that a small studio would struggle to achieve alone.

The product: The game ran a limited playtest on SteamDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in October, with support for 16 languages and full controller input. Its Steam page still lists Grimoire as publisher and a December 2026 release date, so the listing does not yet reflect Indie Go in that role.

Why now? The deal lands amid a push to turn Uzbekistan into a game-development export hub. IT Park has been courting international studios and publishers, and a September memorandum between IT Park VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Indie Go specifically targeted game development in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

What could go wrong? The announcement does not establish the deal's terms or guarantee a wider audience. The practical significance will depend on execution, and the Steam listing has not yet changed to reflect the new arrangement.

The signal: IT Park Uzbekistan framed the agreement as proof that local studios can attract international publishing partners. Uzbekistan's 2030 ambitions include expanding its studio base and game exports — targets, not yet evidence of scale, but a deal like this is the kind of milestone the country is chasing.
