Castik-backed Customs Support Group buys Barcelona broker TEN Aduanas

What's the deal? Customs Support GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (CSG), the Castik Capital-backed customs services provider, has acquired TEN Aduanas 2019 SLDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Barcelona-based, AEO-certified customs broker. Terms were not disclosed.

What does TEN do? Founded in 2019, TEN Aduanas offers round-the-clock import, export, and transit clearance, with expertise in transit operations (T1) and paracustoms work, including sanitary, veterinary, and phytosanitary controls, plus services for cruise and offshore operations. It will keep operating with the same team from its existing offices.

The strategic rationale: The deal gives CSG direct access to the port and airport of Barcelona, two of the main gateways for Mediterranean trade. "Barcelona is a prime example, as one of Europe's major hubs for international trade and logistics," said chief executive officer John Wegman.

Why now? TEN is CSG's third Spanish acquisition in four years. The group entered Spain in 2022 by buying Algeciras broker Tránsito 2000, then added Madrid's DOJÖ Consulting Group in 2025. Spanish operations now span Algeciras, Madrid, and Barcelona with close to 100 staff.

What's the endgame? CSG is building a pan-European customs network with local coverage and specialised services. "Spain is a key market in our European growth strategy and we will continue to invest in the country," said Elías Benhamú, managing director for Spain and France (translated from Spanish). The group runs more than 120 offices across 16 countries, serving over 60,000 customers with 1,700 professionals.

The wider push: Spain is one part of a broader expansion. In 2026 CSG also entered Austria by buying TrovinoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and grew its Irish operation with BeagansDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, while rival Gaston SchulDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → announced deals in Italy and Austria.

The signal: Europe's fragmented customs sector is consolidating through acquisition, as operators race to assemble continent-wide networks that combine local brokerage with specialised services. TEN looks less like a one-off and more like another brick in that model.
