TINC and PMV put €20M into Belgian energy platform Storm

What's the deal? Belgian sustainable energy company StormDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised €20 million in a late-stage round from listed infrastructure investor TINCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Flemish investment company PMVDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. Both investors take board seats and commit €10 million each.

What's the endgame? Storm wants to grow into a broad sustainable energy platform, built on its core onshore wind and battery storage activities. It holds an onshore wind pipeline of 624 MW in Belgium and also develops projects in Ireland.

Why now? TINC and PMV have backed Storm since 2011, co-investing in Belgian wind farms that own 63 turbines totalling 206.4 MW, at a cost of about €390 million. TINC will fund its €10 million commitment from an available €300 million revolving credit facility.

What's next? In spring 2026, the two investors backed Storm's battery storage systems in Ruien and Langerlo. Together the parks carry a capacity of 300 MW and storage of 1,200 MWh, at a realisation cost of €330 million.

The signal: The round reflects a wider Belgian push into grid-scale storage and renewables, with patient infrastructure capital anchoring developers that can turn pipelines into major projects. At €20 million, it sits toward the smaller end of the funding spectrum — but it extends a 15-year partnership already moving into large infrastructure construction.
