The deal, AVNHT 2026-HE1 Trust, is backed by 6,786 receivables from Aven's Home Equity Card, a HELOC credit card product.

How it's structured: The senior Class A-1A and A-1B notes, totaling roughly $234.5 million, earned AAA ratings from S&P Global RatingsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and AAA (sf) from Morningstar DBRS. Barclays served as structuring lead manager and lead bookrunner; Goldman Sachs was co-lead manager. Davidson Kempner contributed assets and bought the Class G and XS notes at closing.

Why now? The close lands in a fast-growing market: second-lien HELOC and home-equity-loan securitizations hit $34.2 billion outstanding by July 2026, with more than $23 billion issued in the first half of the year alone, per KBRA. Homeowners are tapping equity without refinancing low-rate first mortgages.

By the numbers: The raise ranks around the 91st percentile among all-time US fintech debt rounds, based on a sample of 2,267 deals. Founded in 2019, Aven has raised $252 million in equity to date, most recently a $110 million Series E at a $2.2 billion valuation in September 2025.

What the company says: "We're pleased to have completed an oversubscribed offering, with investors new to Aven," said co-founder and chief executive officer Sadi Khan. "This response shows the market sees value in what we're building."

The signal: The oversubscribed close signals institutional appetite for Aven's assets and for specialist lenders bundling consumer home-equity debt. S&P says it is the first rated transaction underwritten entirely with VantageScore 4.0 — an early test of an alternative credit-scoring model in mortgage-backed finance.
