Beacon Pointe adds $1.35B in assets, crosses $70B with three-deal run
What's the deal? Beacon Pointe AdvisorsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired three wealth management firms — WorthPointe Financial Planners, Silver Lake Capital Partners, and R Meier Wealth Management — adding roughly $1.35 billion in client assets. The terms were undisclosed. The transactions closed between July and October 2026.
The targets: WorthPointe, the largest, oversees about $1 billion across California and Texas and blends financial planning with estate planning, asset protection, and charitable giving. Dallas-based Silver Lake advises on roughly $200 million, while Wisconsin's R Meier manages about $150 million, with a focus on tax strategy and estate work.
What's the endgame? The deals lift Beacon Pointe to roughly $70 billion under advisement, with more than 850 employees across over 90 offices. It integrates acquired teams into its allWEALTH framework, which pairs portfolio management with broader financial planning.
Why now? This marks a notably active run for the registered investment adviser (RIA). FidelityDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → ranked Beacon Pointe second among acquirers in the first half of 2026, with eight deals, behind Savant's nine.
Chief executive officer Matt Cooper, who took the role in February, said the three firms share "a deep commitment to their clients and a belief in the value of comprehensive financial advice."
Meanwhile: Rival Wealthspire is expanding abroad. Through its Ground Control division, it picked up Atlantic Swiss, a London private wealth manager with more than $1 billion in assets under management and administration, serving clients across the UK and Western Europe. It is Ground Control's third overseas deal in roughly two years.
The signal: The RIA market remains shaped by consolidators and private-equity-backed buyers. First-half deal counts eased, but acquired assets nearly doubled year over year — a sign buyers are chasing larger targets and scale. Beacon Pointe's hat trick is less a one-off than another step in building a national platform through repeated tuck-ins.
