What's the deal? Mammoth Energy ServicesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (NASDAQ: TUSK) has secured up to $58 million in senior secured term loans from Bank7Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → to fund its growing aviation-leasing business. The facility, signed October 28, 2026, covers a $25 million Term Loan A and a $33 million Term Loan B, both drawable within 60 days of closing. No amounts were drawn at closing.
The terms: The floating-rate loans begin monthly amortization in January 2027 and mature in October 2030. They are secured by the aviation assets of Mammoth subsidiaries Cobra Aviation Services and Leopard Aviation, and guaranteed by the parent company.
What's the endgame? Oklahoma City-based Mammoth operates across aviation leasing, heavy equipment rental, fiber optic services, sand proppant, workforce accommodations, and directional drilling. It expects to use proceeds to acquire more aviation assets, the fastest-growing part of its business.
Why now? Mammoth's aviation portfolio reached 44 assets by September 30, with 29 generating revenue — up from 15 assets a year earlier. The company had invested about $134.9 million in the fleet entirely without debt, and third-quarter revenue rose 95% year-over-year to $21.3 million.
Chief financial officer Mark Layton framed the facility as a measured step. "This facility allows us to add prudent leverage and fund the next phase of fleet growth while preserving liquidity," he said.
What could go wrong? The facility marks a shift from funding expansion with cash toward asset-backed leverage. Its payoff depends on Mammoth placing new assets on lease and earning enough to cover floating-rate debt service once amortization starts in January 2027.
The signal: Having raised its full-year outlook for the third time this year and projected 2027 adjusted EBITDA growth above 40%, Mammoth is betting that aviation leasing can anchor its diversified portfolio. The Bank7 facility signals confidence to scale the fleet without draining the balance sheet.
