A week earlier, Mountain Ridge Capital was reported to have provided the same business a $10 million senior-secured, cross-border asset-based facility to refinance debt and fund working capital. The expanded facility's size was not disclosed.
"Full Send Partners understood our operating requirements, guided us through the financing alternatives and helped secure a facility that gives us additional capacity to support our studio partners and execute our growth plans," said chief executive officer Barry Buchholtz.
Gayane Kirakosyan, managing director and head of capital markets at Full Send Partners, pointed to the cross-border collateral as the deal's defining challenge. "By understanding the company's business and proactively addressing the complexities of its cross-border collateral, we were able to identify financing partners who recognized the opportunity," she said.
The signal: With traditional lenders retreating from consumer exposure, asset-based financing — structured around inventory, including stock held abroad — is becoming a key route for mid-market brands to keep funding growth.
