Peter Sellis joins X to lead Product

Peter Sellis is joining X (formerly Twitter) to lead Product, he announced on X.

Sellis most recently worked at Microsoft AI after serving as SVP of Product at Discord (2022–2026) and earlier as VP of Product at Snap, where he was Snapchat’s first product manager. He also worked at Science Inc. and held earlier product roles including at Ustream.

He said he is “a huge believer in SpaceX’s mission to extend human consciousness to the stars,” adding in his own words that “it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary.” His goal, he wrote, is to help accelerate X’s recent product momentum for the community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make the product beautiful and useful.
