Michael Dell passes Sergey Brin for world’s No. 4 richest (~$243B vs $241.7B)

Michael Dell passed Google co-founder Sergey Brin for No. 4 on Forbes’ real-time billionaires list on Monday, with Dell’s estimated net worth rising about 2.4% to roughly $243 billion versus Brin’s about $241.7 billion.

The move followed a rebound in Dell Technologies shares, which jumped over 3% Monday afternoon to $472.43 after a month-long slide that followed a Barclays downgrade. Dell owns a roughly 40% stake in Dell Technologies. Brin’s fortune edged slightly lower as Alphabet shares softened.
