Try Dealroom →'s Russian subsidiary — has acquired Poligrin, the owner of premium plant-based drinks brand 5Yes!. Terms were not disclosed. 5Yes! sells mainly to coffee shops, restaurants, and professional baristas, with more than 20 products built for foodservice.
By the numbers: Poligrin generated revenue of US$7.83M in 2025, up 70% from 2024. That growth made the brand an attractive bolt-on as Milk Logic pushes deeper into the fast-moving plant drinks segment.
What's the endgame? The deal gives Milk Logic a second plant-based brand for the coffee channel, alongside PlantoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the former AlproDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → range it has sold in Russia since 2023. The company says it will keep 5Yes!'s recipes, partner arrangements, and team, then expand the range across all channels, including retail.
Why now? Milk Logic estimates Russian plant-based drink sales rose 18.4% by volume and 23% by value in 2025, with double-digit growth continuing into 2026. The purchase falls under its Strategy 2030, which targets a bigger share of the plant-based market and a stronger foothold in hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
What else? In 2025, Milk Logic announced a plant-based drinks facility in Samara, with a capacity of 17,000 tonnes a year and investment of more than US$15M. Planto's own barista line grew 5.8% by volume and 17% by value that year.
What they're saying: "The 5Yes! brand is well known to market professionals, and the company's products are distinguished by their high quality," said Milk Logic chief executive officer Yakub Zakriev. He added that integration would "strengthen the brand's scientific and production base."
The signal: With terms undisclosed, this reads less as a transformative buy than a targeted move to lock up distribution in a growing category. By pairing two barista brands, Milk Logic is betting that Russia's plant-drink momentum runs through the café counter.
