NVIDIA opens SimReady Central Library: 2,000+ free OpenUSD assets for robotics and AI factories

What happened? NVIDIA has launched SimReady Central Library on Hugging Face — a free, ungated collection of more than 2,000 simulation-ready OpenUSD assets for robotics simulation and AI factory digital twins. Assets ship with the physical properties simulators need (collision geometry, mass, friction and related metadata), so teams spend less time hand-authoring CAD into usable scenes.

OEM partners contributing equipment models include FANUC, Universal Robots, Franka Robotics, Robotiq, Standard Bots, Comau, Vertiv, LG Electronics, Palatial, ForgeCAD and AGIBOT. Natural-language discovery is powered by NVIDIA USD Search . The library is available now as a research preview.

Why it matters Physical AI and factory digital twins stall when developers lack shareable, simulation-grade 3D content. A common OpenUSD library that OEMs can populate — and that agents and Isaac workflows can search — lowers the barrier to building robot workcells and AI factory layouts from real equipment models.
