The deal expands CompassMSP's West Coast footprint and its work in real estate, healthcare, and professional services.

What each side brings: Founded in 2002 by Greg Patatian, SecureNet provides managed IT services across California and the wider western US, with a practice serving real estate, healthcare, accounting, and law firms. CompassMSP adds that regional base to its national platform.

What changes for customers? SecureNet clients gain access to national cybersecurity resources, including round-the-clock security operations centre monitoring, virtual chief information security officer advisory services, and compliance support for frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and NIST standards.

Why buy rather than build? CompassMSP is entering the West Coast through an established local provider instead of building client relationships from scratch. Patatian stays on to oversee continuity.

"What Greg Patatian has built is exactly the kind of practice we look for," said Jivan Achreja, executive chairman of CompassMSP. "This is a team that has earned real trust with its clients by understanding their business, not just their technology."
