Try Dealroom → — over the past three months, with the companies raising more than €220,000 combined from its 50-plus active angel investors.
What do they do? Solmag, founded by Alex Nicoară and Vlad Ionescu, gives energy suppliers, traders, and distributors a live view of solar generation straight from the inverter, plus hardware that links prosumers' panels and batteries into a virtual power plant. It used its funding to open its first hardware production unit.
The rest of the portfolio: Watergenics, a Berlin-based startup founded by Romanian Liviu Mantescu, builds smart sensors that analyse water chemistry on the pipe in under 10 minutes — versus the 12 to 24 hours lab testing can take. EdNeos runs an AI platform that coaches deskless workers through tasks by voice, now used by companies in Romania and Luxembourg. Rayscape, based in Timișoara, develops AI for radiology and has deployed across more than 20 countries.
How it works: Bravva's team speaks with more than 15 startups a month and selects about three to pitch its investor community. Clearing the pitch stage guarantees nothing — angels then decide individually whether to join a round and how much to commit. A fifth company's round remains confidential.
Why now? Bravva has recently screened companies in medtech, robotics, AI, cybersecurity, fintech, e-commerce, and charging-station software, most of them B2B SaaS. The rounds it prepares range from €200,000 to €2 million, depending on a product's maturity and traction.
The signal: Romanian startups raised €105 million across 30 rounds in the first nine months of 2026, with a single €46 million deal taking a large share. Against that concentration, Bravva's spread of four small cheques — alongside earlier co-investments in LicensewareDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and VoxaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → — points to steady angel activity and portfolio breadth below the headline deals.
