Banca March targets €300M for fourth international private equity fund of funds

What's the deal? Banca MarchDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has launched March PE Global IV, a fund of funds targeting €300 million, with the Spanish group committing 20% — roughly €60 million. The vehicle, managed through March Private EquityDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, invests entirely in international managers, with a focus on the US and Europe.

What's the endgame? The fund backs middle-market managers across technology, health, services, and energy transition. It lets investors finance up to 50% of their capital calls, and applies fees only on capital actually disbursed during the portfolio-construction phase.

Why now? The launch continues a program Banca March started in 2020. Its three previous editions raised more than €960 million and now hold 39 underlying funds with stakes in over 400 private companies.

"Co-investment is part of Banca March's DNA. We have spent more than 20 years inviting our clients to invest in the same products and on the same terms as the bank's shareholders," said Manuel Travesedo, general manager of March Private Equity (translated from Spanish).

The signal: The fund arrives as European private-equity fundraising stays subdued, with about €39 billion raised in the first half of 2026 amid a tough exit environment. Banca March's target is modest next to large institutional funds, but its co-investment terms and middle-market focus aim to set it apart — marking a steady continuation of its program rather than a market rebound.
