PayRange names four executives after KioSoft takeover
What's the deal? PayRange, a provider of payment and software for self-service laundry and other unattended businesses, has appointed four executives to lead its combined company following the December 2025 acquisition of KioSoft. The deal's financial terms were not disclosed.
What changed? Charles Lee, formerly KioSoft's chief executive officer, becomes executive chair after serving as vice chairman post-acquisition. Kiernan White, who joined earlier this year, takes over as chief operating officer; Jeff Piszczek joins as chief revenue officer; and Matthew Carlson becomes vice president of marketing.
Why now? PayRange says the KioSoft deal broadened its technology portfolio, market reach, and operating scale. The new roles — spanning operations, revenue, and marketing — are aimed at integrating that expanded business and scaling it.
What's the endgame? Beyond KioSoft, PayRange has pursued growth through a 2026 licensing deal with Electrolux ProfessionalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → that embeds its mobile-payment technology in laundry equipment. The appointments suggest an effort to convert recent acquisitions and partnerships into wider commercial reach.
"We have assembled a strong team of capable executives who bring the experience, talent, and vision to take the company to the next level," Lee said.
The signal: Consolidation is reshaping the unattended-payments market, and PayRange is betting leadership depth can turn scale into results. But the announcement offers no financial targets or figures to measure the impact.
