OTG buys OHM Concession Group to expand airport dining across North America
What's the deal? Airport hospitality company OTGDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired OHM Concession Group, a St. Louis-based airport concessions operator founded in 1998. The deal value was not disclosed. It combines two operators serving travelers across airports in the US and Canada.
What does each company do? OTG develops and runs dining, retail, and lounge experiences across North America, pairing chef-driven cuisine with local brands and proprietary technology. OHM manages dining and retail concepts at major US airports, spanning quick-service, fast-casual, and full-service offerings.
What's the rationale? The combined company will operate a broader network of airports and a wider portfolio of dining, retail, and guest experiences. Both firms plan to keep their existing brand equity while sharing technology platforms and best practices.
What changes? Milan Patel, OHM's president, will remain as president of OHM Concession Group, focusing on growth strategy, airport partnerships, and new business. Airport authorities, airlines, and brand partners are expected to gain from expanded capabilities and increased investment capacity.
"Both organizations share a deep commitment to quality, innovation, and guest experience," said Matt King, chief executive officer of OTG. Patel called the acquisition "an exciting next chapter."
Stifel, Nicolaus & Company advised OHM, with Winston Taylor as legal counsel. Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison advised OTG, with Leo Berwick handling financial due diligence, tax, and integration.
The signal: Consolidation continues to reshape airport concessions as operators chase scale to win contracts and fund technology. Combining a tech-focused player with a community-rooted concessions specialist gives OTG more geographic reach and negotiating weight with airport authorities.
