Streamside buys Bay Point Landing, its first Pacific Northwest resort
What's the deal? Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds has acquired Bay Point Landing, a 103-acre waterfront resort in Coos Bay, Oregon, marking its first Pacific Northwest and coastal property. The deal value was undisclosed.
The acquisition brings Streamside's portfolio to 41 properties across 18 states, spanning more than 4,774 RV and lodging sites.
What are they buying? Bay Point Landing offers 125 RV sites, 32 Scandinavian-inspired cabins, and 14 rentable Airstreams. Amenities include an indoor heated saltwater pool, a bayfront fitness center, and a playground.
Founded in 2018 and developed by NBP CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the resort sits along Highway 101 near several state parks and Bandon Dunes.
Why now? "We have been looking for the right way to enter into the Pacific Northwest market, and Bay Point Landing is exactly what we were looking for," said Jen Milam, chief growth officer at Streamside. She called it "perfectly situated for travelers road-tripping along Highway 101."
What changes for guests? Streamside said the transition will not disrupt operations and that all existing reservations will be honored. The company plans to add national operational resources and evaluate infrastructure investments while keeping the property's identity intact.
Bay Point Landing has drawn recognition from design and travel outlets, including a "Best Place to Camp in the Pacific Region" award from The Dyrt and a "Lodges + Camps" win at the Hospitality Design Awards.
The signal: Founded in 2023, Streamside is consolidating the fragmented outdoor hospitality market at speed, using acquisitions to expand geographically and add higher-end glamping inventory to its RV base.
