What's the deal? Tricore Technical ServicesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has received a strategic investment from the Dutch-owned WIND GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the two companies announced on September 15, 2026. The deal ties Tricore's technical, engineering, and digital capabilities to WIND's international network across the cable lifecycle.
What does Tricore do? It provides specialist cable testing and termination, fault finding and repair, QA/QC, client representation, and technical project support. The firm also runs a digital offering spanning digital twinning, project digitalisation, and software solutions.
What's the endgame? Through the partnership, Tricore gains access to WIND's global footprint, with locations across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Those bases will increasingly host Tricore's services, helping it mobilise specialist personnel and equipment and expand internationally.
Why now? WIND, a subsea cable service specialist, framed the deal as a response to client demand. "Our investment in Tricore responds directly to growing demand from our clients for integra[ted services]," said chief executive officer Tom Nooij.
What they're saying: "In WIND, we have found a partner that shares those same values and ambitions," said Paul Bass, managing director of Tricore. "The real opportunity is what we can achieve together."
The signal: The tie-up reflects consolidation around the cable lifecycle as offshore wind, power, and wider energy projects grow more complex. By pooling technical expertise with international reach, WIND and Tricore are betting that integrated, end-to-end service is what energy clients want next.
