Why now? The deal keeps a nearly century-old business rooted in rural Missouri. "This transaction helps maintain Wolcott's base of operations in rural Missouri while positioning the company for continued growth," Brown said.

The signal: Psalm of Life Capital invests in middle-market businesses that anchor rural communities, and MRIF is a $21.3M fund backing economic growth and job creation across Missouri.
