Kueski launches bill payments and top-ups that users can split into fortnightly instalments
What's the deal? Kueski has launched Pago de Servicios y Recargas in its app, letting users pay more than 122 services and 58 mobile top-up operators and split the cost into fortnightly (quincena) payments without a credit or debit card. Categories include electricity, water, gas, phone and internet bills, streaming and gaming, tolls and transport, and school and course fees.
Context "In Mexico, many people manage their spending around fortnightly income, not necessarily around credit cards," said Lisset May, Kueski's SVP of sales. Mexico's 2024 National Financial Inclusion Survey found that about 75% of transactions above 500 pesos are still made in cash. The launch extends Kueski beyond BNPL at retail checkouts such as Chedraui, El Palacio de Hierro and Huawei, which it added earlier in 2026.
