What's the deal? CamposolDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a multinational fresh-food producer, has acquired a shareholding in JaliscavoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a grower-backed Mexican avocado company based in Jalisco. The deal value was undisclosed. Camposol announced it on October 15 at The Global Produce & Floral Show 2026 in Orlando.

Who's involved? Jaliscavo runs a network of 12 grower partners and 44 registered orchards across Jalisco, Colima, and Michoacán. It also operates a packing facility in Gómez Farías, Jalisco, that can process up to 48,000 metric tons a year, with advanced grading and orchard-to-box traceability.

What's the endgame? Camposol wants to build a global avocado sourcing platform, combining its own production in Peru and Colombia with partner growers across different origins. Mexico adds a new harvest window and strengthens its conventional and organic offering for North American retailers, distributors, and foodservice buyers.

Why now? The move pushes Camposol toward year-round, 52-week avocado supply programs by stacking complementary harvest windows across countries. It also lets Camposol make fuller use of Jaliscavo's packing capacity and expand sourcing from independent growers.

Chief executive officer Ricardo Naranjo called the investment "a concrete step in the execution of the strategic plan we have been developing to consolidate a global avocado sourcing platform." He said Mexico is "an important step, and we will continue to add new origins and partnerships."

The signal: The deal reflects how major produce players are vertically integrating and diversifying supply to meet retailer demand for consistent, year-round availability. Expect Camposol to keep adding origins as it builds a more resilient international sourcing network.
