Reactive Dynamics RDX 1 tracked ground drone completes first tactical troops trial

What's the deal? In October 2026 German startup Reactive DynamicsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → said combat troops had put its RDX 1 electric tracked unmanned ground vehicle through its first tactical trials, using it to haul supplies, carry casualties and reconnaissance patrols, and lead manned vehicles. The company lists the RDX 1 at an 80 km/h top speed, 150 km range and 1,200 kg payload.

Why it matters: The trials give the RDX 1 a first field reference with regular troops for logistics, medical evacuation and lead-vehicle duties. Fast, electric tracked UGVs like the RDX 1 are drawing interest as armies look for low-cost, uncrewed labour for resupply and casualty extraction on the battlefield, including in Ukraine's combat environment.
