Capchase launches Mila, an AI deal desk for its $2B vendor financing platform
What's the deal? Capchase, an embedded vendor financing platform for enterprise technology, has made Mila generally available — a 24/7 AI deal desk for vendor financing. Vendors email Mila a quote, mention it in Slack, or open a chat at finance.new, and get back priced proposals, buyer credit decisions, and ready-to-sign paperwork in seconds.
Why now? Enterprise tech financing still runs on bank hours, in a vendor and equipment financing market worth $1.3 trillion. Simple questions like "Is my customer approved?" can take days, and every deal change starts another round. Mila answers on the spot and works to finance the deal the same day.
What's the endgame? Running a vendor financing program by hand takes a large team shuttling paper between sales, credit, and legal. Mila absorbs that work, freeing deal desks to focus on structuring. It draws on each desk's own approval criteria and pricing, and hands a deal to a person when one is needed.
What led here? Mila builds on Capchase's AI underwriting, which decisions more than 90% of applications in under a minute. Earlier this year it launched an Agentic Lending Coordinator that cut an eight-hour workflow to about 60 seconds.
Since entering beta this summer, more than 75% of financing actions handled by Capchase's deal desk have run through Mila. Vendors including Verkada and Barracuda now process financing through it in Slack.
What they're saying: "Financing a deal should not take longer than selling it," said Miguel Fernandez, chief executive officer and co-founder. "She answers at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m., and paperwork stops being the reason a sale slips into next quarter."
Co-founder Guli Moreno said close to $2 billion in deals has gone through Capchase's portal. "But every portal still requires manual, tedious input. Mila removes that step."
Mila is available today to all Capchase vendors at no additional cost.
The signal: Capchase is pointing autonomous agents at the slow, paper-heavy middle of enterprise sales, where financing delays can push a deal into the next quarter. If agents can run a deal desk end to end, lending becomes a feature of the sale rather than a separate process.
