Infotech buys Zluri, launches CIO Analytics as revenue tops $300M

What's the deal? InfotechDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the research and advisory firm formerly known as Info-Tech Research Group, has acquired SaaS management and identity governance provider Zluri and launched CIO Analytics, an API-driven advisory platform for IT leaders. The acquisition — Infotech's first in its 30-year history — came alongside the company's rebrand and a global product launch announced October 14, 2026. Deal terms were not disclosed.

What's the endgame? Infotech is pushing beyond traditional research into a system CIOs use to track performance, manage spend and risk, and improve execution. CIO Analytics combines operational IT data with the firm's research, benchmarks, and analyst expertise.

What does Zluri add? Founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari, and Sethu Meenakshisundaram, Zluri helps organisations discover, manage, and govern SaaS applications, identities, and access. Its capabilities feed two of CIO Analytics' three launch modules: Application Discovery, and Identity Governance and Administration. The third is Service Desk Analytics.

About the product: CIO Analytics debuted in beta at Info-Tech LIVE 2026 in Las Vegas, where registration exceeded its user target. The platform also powers AI-Assisted Advisory Services, which pair the firm's frameworks with AI to produce deployable deliverables — though analysts stay responsible for the final work.

Why now? As AI commoditises access to research, Infotech is targeting the gap between broadly available information and guidance tailored to each organisation. "AI and analytics are nothing without the right data, and the right data is hard to act on without benchmarks and industry-leading insight that show what 'good' looks like," says chief executive officer Tom Zehren.

The company has grown more than 340% over the past seven years, surpassing $300 million in annual revenue. It frames the acquisition and launch as the next phase of its "hypergrowth" trajectory.

The signal: The deal shows research and advisory firms racing to bolt real-time operational data onto their analysis as AI erodes the value of static insight. By acquiring rather than building, Infotech is betting that owning the data layer — not just the research — is what keeps advisers relevant.
