Mesh buys Bluvo to scale its 300-exchange crypto payments network
What's the deal? Mesh, a crypto payments network, has acquired BluvoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a developer of exchange connectivity technology. Terms were undisclosed. Bluvo co-founders Florian Sabani and Luca Dalla Chiara have joined Mesh.
What each side brings: Founded in 2020, Mesh has connected more than 300 exchanges and wallets through a single integration. Bluvo built exchange connectivity technology, tackling the same problem from the outside.
The hires: Sabani joins as senior staff software engineer and Dalla Chiara as head of exchange partnerships. Both previously ran Bluvo. "We'd rather have them building it with us than in parallel," said Mesh chief executive officer and co-founder Bam Azizi.
What's the endgame? Mesh wants money to move across any chain, wallet, exchange, or currency without users thinking about where their funds started. "We intend to be the standard the world moves on," Azizi said. The team's focus now is reliability at scale.
Why it matters: At 300-plus integrations, the challenge shifts from building connections to keeping them reliable. "The hard part isn't making a connection work once, it's keeping it reliable every time," Sabani said.
The signal: Consolidating specialist talent through acquisition is a common move for infrastructure companies racing to own the plumbing of digital finance. By absorbing Bluvo rather than competing with it, Mesh bets that scale and uptime — not any single integration — will decide who becomes the default rails for crypto payments.
