Qualcomm exits Shadowfax with final $18M share sale

What's the deal? Qualcomm Ventures has sold its remaining stake in Indian logistics firm Shadowfax Technologies for US$21.4M through an open-market transaction. BSE bulk deal data shows Qualcomm Asia Pacific Pte LtdDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an affiliate of the US chipmaker, offloaded 57.13 lakh shares at an average of US$3.74 each — a 0.98% stake.

Why now? The sale completes a staggered exit. In August, Qualcomm sold 75 lakh shares for US$25M at US$3.33 apiece. Together, the two deals raised about US$46.3M. Qualcomm held a 2.26% stake as of June 2026.

What does Shadowfax do? Founded in 2015 by Abhishek Bansal and Vaibhav Khandelwal, the company provides logistics for e-commerce, quick-commerce, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses. Its network now spans more than 16,000 pincodes.

The numbers: Shadowfax reported a consolidated net profit of US$8.88M in Q1 FY27, up from US$1.09M a year earlier. Operating revenue grew 65% year-on-year to US$184.4M.

The signal: Qualcomm's exit follows a wider pattern of early investors cashing out since Shadowfax listed in January. TPG-backed NewQuest Asia Fund IVDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has also trimmed its holding through multiple bulk deals, a familiar post-IPO rotation as backers lock in gains.
